Norvida is the leading branded meat import company in the Nordic region and act as “Your guide in the world of meat”.
Norvida was founded in Stockholm in the year 1990. Today, we are a well-established partner for all things meat-related on both the retail market, food service and food industry. Our head office is in Nacka, Stockholm. We also have a presence in Finland, Norway, and Brazil. All in all, our team is comprised of around 30 people in Sweden and 10 people in other countries.

We sell our products through our own brands Naturkött®, Köttkultur™, Happy Chef®, Johns’®, Reserva365 and Evryday™ as well as through our partners brand Aberdeen Black, Stockman´s and Iberiq.

What will you do?
This position reports to the CEO of the company, and he/she is a vital part of the decision-making process in the company. Being a small company as it comes to member of the staff, everybody in Norvida must be capable of sharing and collaborating among colleagues and thus assuring the best possible outcome for the company in general.

This position has the overall responsibility of our marketing, communication, and PR, currently in Sweden, Finland and Norway.
In your role you´ll be responsible for planning and executing on our marketing, communication and PR strategy.
The role is to be our hands on inhouse agency.

You´ll detect and assess marketing opportunities and establish an action plan for them. These opportunities often come from your market research and trends, consumer behavior, competition analysis and your thorough work with analyzing market data. Based on these insights you´ll also play a crucial role in our NPD process.

Furthermore you´ll develop strategies, tactics and action them to get the word out about our company and brands and drive qualified traffic to our front door. You´ll drive our promotion and marketing activities both offline and online from A to Z.

As a first step you initially need to familiarize ”Norvida’s DNA” and our ways to work. After that you´ll get to know your point of contact and portfolios.

Next, a structured approach on how to gain accelerated sales from marketing, communication and PR should be drawn and executed.

How will we measure success?

  • Norvida group sales
  • Norvida group net profit
  • Evolve and accelerate our presence in SoMe with regards to followers (x k), engagemang (x %), drive traffic, brand tracking (Köttkultrur 15%)                          
  • Lead, manage and deliver the marketing plan (deliver all campaigns on time, deliver the targeted goal for each campaign and deliver the marketing plan according to budget)

What skills are needed to succeed?

  • You like to build a growth plan and look forward to executing upon it
  • You have extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • You have a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and quick communication
  • You have solid IT skills, especially Office 360, photoshop/indesign and SoMe
  • Previous hands-on experience in content creation related to artwork, photo, movies and editing in relevant programs
  • You have solid knowledge of how to optimize us online via e.g. Google Adwords and also analyze the outcome via e.g., Google Analytics
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter, a team-player who can build great relationships with both colleagues and customers.
  • You like challenges, you crave for stunning results, you are business oriented and like to work with numbers.
  • Your highly analytical, organized, reliable and efficient with meticulous attention to detail
  • You are a natural communicator and like to interact with new contacts and can quickly gain trust and build strong relationships
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You are a native Swedish speaker, and fluent in English. Finnish/Norwegian/Danish is a plus
  • You like to have fun at work while delivering strong results

What experience is needed to succeed?

  • Proven experience in a similar position in an in-house or agency environment within FMCG
  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience from working both high level with strategy as well as being operational and execute upon it
  • Customer interface working experience
  • Knowledge of sales channels, customers and path of decision making is highly appreciated
  • Past history and knowledge from the meat industry is a plus
